A police station is more than a building. It is a long-term investment in public safety, with consequences for service levels, staffing, maintenance, and the budget for decades.

We follow proposals for public safety facilities by linking to public records, meeting agendas, and official plans, and by summarizing what is proposed. We do not claim that every facility investment produces benefits automatically. Each proposal should be evaluated using its local facts and tradeoffs — including cost, location, timeline, long-term maintenance, and who bears the impact. Our role is to surface the sourced information that helps a community do that evaluation.
